History and Executive

The Old Rishworthian Club was established in 1926 by a handful of old pupils with the purpose of promoting goodwill and fellowship amongst Old Rishworthians and the stimulation of interest in Rishworth School.

Today the Club reflects the cosmopolitan nature of the School with well over 1000 members spread throughout the UK and overseas. The Club organises regular reunions, ranging from dinners to golf events, has its own facebook page and publishes content in the Rishworthian Magazine.

The Club also runs its own Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to parents who would otherwise be unable to send their children to Rishworth. To date over 100 pupils have benefited from the scheme.

Executive Committee

The Old Rishworthian Club is currently managed through an Executive Committee of former pupils covering 3 decades of Rishworthian life from the '60s, '70s and '80s but we are always looking for new and younger blood!

Close links are maintained with the School through the Director of Marketing and the Headmaster.

The Committee would love to hear from any Old Rishworthians wherever they may be in the world.

Please let us know when you were at school and any news we can share with former friends or colleagues via this site.

The Committee would also be pleased to receive electronic or scanned copies of old photos, especially "then and now", if you would share them with us for our Picture Gallery.
